Answers to Frequently Asked Questions/Terms and Conditions
TURNAROUND TIME – It will take approximately 4-6 weeks for the artwork to be completed and shipped from the day we receive your photos. If you want your artwork to be amended, it will take an extra few days. This time does not take into account the time we wait for the client to approve his or her artwork.
SHIPPING – The prices listed do not include shipping and insurance fees of $20 per order. If you order more than one artwork, it is better to include all the artwork in one order so you will pay for the shipment only once. All items will be shipped via UPS Ground. UPS does not ship to a P.O. Box number so please provide a physical address. Once your order is shipped, you will receive an email with the tracking number. A signature is required upon delivery to confirm receipt of your artwork.
HARDCOPY PHOTOS – For customers who submit their images by postal mail, all photographs will be returned to you at the completion of the project. We are not responsible for any lost or damaged photographs during postal transit.
GUARANTEE STATEMENT – Since each artwork is hand-made, we will ensure that the best quality and care be put into it. Customer satisfaction is our top priority. We will only ship your artwork after you review it and give us your final approval.
RETURN POLICY – Because each artwork is hand-made, we need to ensure the artists are compensated for their efforts. 1) If you are unsatisfied with your artwork for any reason after you receive it, you may return it. We will refund 50% of the artwork's price. 2) If you are unsatisfied with the artwork after multiple rounds of modifications during the inspection process, you may terminate the project. We will refund half of your deposit or 25% of the artwork's price. 3) If your order was damaged during shipping, please contact us immediately.
MODIFICATIONS – Requests for changes accepted include and are limited to the following types: minor color adjustments, minor increase/decrease in size of objects, and minor detail touch-ups. Requests to completely redo an artwork will be charged at full price for that new artwork.
DISCLAIMER – Since each artwork is custom-made by hand, the resulting oil paintings and sculptures may not look exactly the same as the submitted photographs. In addition, because we are recreating images into art, the artists will add some artistic elements into each artwork. There will be slight differences, but we will try our best to ensure that all objects are proportionally correct. Knife paintings, on the other hand, will look drastically different due to the more abstract painting style.
COPYRIGHTED WORKS – Customers are both responsible and liable for the images they submit. One must have the appropriate permission or the copyright to request a painting or sculpture from the photo they submit.
PAYMENT – Payment can be made via credit/charge card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discovery) or by check. Please note that an order will only be shipped once the check has cleared. Credit/charge card payment will be authorized and processed when the order is taken (deposit) and when the order is shipped (payment balance). You represent and warrant that if you are purchasing something from us that (i) any credit card information you supply is true, correct and complete, (ii) charges incurred by you will be honored by your credit card company, and (iii) you will pay the charges incurred by you at the posted prices, including any shipping fees and applicable taxes.
FRAUD – By becoming a customer, you confirm that the information provided in this form is true and that you agree to abide by the Terms and Conditions of use of this site.
PRIVACY – We will not sell or give any of your personal information to third parties for any purpose. Credit card details are not stored in your profile or on our servers; they are only used for processing orders. You must re-enter your credit card number for each order.
CHANGES TO TERMS AND CONDITIONS – Garwin & Chan Associates reserves the right to change, add or remove any portion of these terms and conditions of use, in whole or in part, at any time. Changes in the terms and conditions of use will be effective when posted. You agree to review these terms and conditions of use periodically to make yourself aware of any changes. Your continued use of this website after any changes to these terms and conditions of use are considered acceptance of those changes. We also reserve the right to change prices without notice.
